High Fiber Holiday Menu: Tempting Healthy Recipes

The little Tibetan Goji berries seem to taste better than Chinese ones, probably because most of the goodness is in the skins. And there certainly is some goodness there! So be sure and include them in your healthy food recipes. They don't make you gain weight and they seem to strengthen lymphocite action (part of your immune system). They probably fight cancer, because they kill many kinds of cancer cells grown in test-tubes. They're even able to help with low energy, insomnia, heart palpitations and depression, and they protect the liver from the poisons used for chemotherapy.

How can they help in so many ways, when even the most expensive drugs can only help in one way? Simple. Drugs have just one thing. Goji berries are a complicated mixture of hundreds of different things. For instance they even have more beta-carotene than carrots, more vitamin C per ounce than oranges (about 500 times as much), lots of vitamins A, B1, B2, B6 and E and have minerals such as selenium and germanium. There are phytochemicals that protect you and plenty of different antioxidants. You've been told you need fiber in your diet, but you hate eating bran. You don't need to. Goji berries are loaded with fiber and are delicious.
