You can't just expect to eat a whole bunch of calories each day and still lose weight. Your body burns calories every day, but if you eat more calories than your burn, then you will keep adding on fat.

Tip #3 – Increase Metabolism with Exercise – Increasing your metabolism in a great way to get your body burning more calories. One of the best ways that you can increase your metabolism is to start exercising. You should take the time to exercise a few times a week to get your metabolism revved up. Not only will you benefit while exercising, but all week long as well, since your metabolism will be higher and burning off more calories.

Tip #4 – Beware of Hidden Calories – One thing that can sabotage any weight loss program is hidden calories. These are calories that you may not be aware that you are consuming throughout the day. Many people forget to count the calories that are in their drinks. Some sodas can add a couple hundred calories to your total in just one serving. For best results stick to water and low calorie drinks. Also be aware that the condiments you use are probably full of calories as well.

Tip #5 – Lose Weight for You – No matter what weight loss program you are in, you need to be sure that you are losing the weight for you. You can't expect to succeed if you are doing it for someone else. Lose it for you so that you can look and feel better.
