Eating Health Foods At Breakfast For A Healthy Start To The Day

I always like to stick to purely Wholefoods and fruit for my breakfast. To be honest, I nearly always just have yogurt and fruit. What so many folks don't realise is that it actually takes a lot of energy to digest foods such as toast, cooked breakfasts and cereals. Digesting fruit takes much less energy to digest, and therefore gives you much more energy to start your day with a real boost.

The other benefit of having mostly fruit in the morning is that you can get a lot of the vitamins and nutrients that you need on a regular. As a general rule, you want to include fruits of several different colours. This is a simple way to make sure that you get a large range of fruits that provide you with different vitamins and nutrients.

My personal favourites for breakfast are Tibetan Goji Berries and blueberries. Not only do they give you very high levels of antioxidants, but they are also choose to eat one). The Organic Goji Berries have much higher levels of antioxidants but you have to buy them dried. Blueberries of course you can get fresh.

Another fruit that I usually like to include are oranges. Sometimes I just cut an orange in two and eat it straight, and other times I will squeeze them for juice. It's hard to top freshly squeezed orange juice to wash your breakfast down!

Of course oranges are high in vit c, just like your Goji berries, so they are a great addition.

Other fruits that are great to have are bananas (which you can cut. There are many other fruits you can have but those are just my favourites.

If you try to make an effort to begin your day with a great healthy breakfast like this of Health Foods and fruit, I'm positive you will definitely feel the difference. It gives you a real boost of energy - in the mind as well as body. You feel fresh and healthy and ready to take on whatever the day has waiting for you!

Make yourself a promise to give yourself a healthy start each day for the next week, and feel the change!

Being healthy starts from the very moment you wake up each and every day. It always amazes me exactly how many people actually skip their breakfast all together! Your breakfast is your most important meal to get you going for your day ahead.
