Memories Of A Great 3 Bean Salad

When we were little, we had school picnics. All the Moms would make their favorite dish, which would become their famous dish after a few years, and we'd all play and eat, and eat and play, and then do some more eating and playing. The dish I remember most at those school picnics is a 3 Bean Salad. I think one of the reasons I remember it so well was the beautiful color. The mixture of the red, yellow, and green beans was fabulous. Now that I've made it, I can remember that tart and sweet taste, and the aroma that made my mouth water. Even if your kids are picky eaters, this salad might just tempt them to try something different. You'll have them intrigued by the colors, but the taste will have them sold.
