Intake of fruits in comparison to juice is more helpful since juices contain a higher amount of calories and no fiber content.
Another method to reduce calorie intake, is to replace 2-3 big servings of food in a day with 5-6 small servings and avoid junk food in between meals.
Small meals at an interval of every 2-3 hours will give a fulfilling feeling to the body and also reduce your desire for snacks. While the body is digesting the food, it will also send a filling indication to the brain and hence curb your inclination for snacking. You can splurge on food once a week but the remaining days must be directed towards healthy diet. You can have salads which are devoid of any vinaigrette, chicken in any form whether it is baked or grilled, fish and vegetables. Opt for salads with no dressings, baked or grilled chicken, fish and vegetables with plenty of fruits, and water.
Water can be helpful in two ways. Firstly, keep sipping cold water in an interval of 10 minutes. Secondly, taking a cold shower or pouring cold water after your regular shower will also help in burning calories. The second is to take a cold shower. Or finish your normal shower then as the last rinse pour cold water. You must keep in mind that recurrent small meals 5-6 times a day, surplus fruits, vegetables and plenty of water will surely assist you in reducing weight with negligible exercising.
