Best Bicep Exercise

A man’s bicep is probably one of the best body parts to flaunt. It is undeniable that girls dig masculine arms. However, if bragging about your arms is the last thing you would think about because you have nothing to flaunt then it is just appropriate to look for the best bicep exercise that will make your arms look hot.

Besides getting the attention of the ladies, a pair of huge biceps clearly screams stamina and power. Chores like lifting or carrying heavy things are totally manageable with a guy who has powerful biceps to count on.

In your quest for finding the best bicep workout that suits your personality and physical condition, you need to try out different exercises in order to see what really fits and what does not. But that would take so much time so to help you out with that, here’s a list of the most effective bicep exercises known.

Most of the best bicep exercise routines discussed below involve curls and pulling motions. This specific motion induces the body to create muscles in that exact spot thereby increasing the muscle size.

As a beginner, you do not have to do every routine which is the same when you try to grow chest muscles. Just choose 2 routines and then come up with a fitness plan that will enable you to finish two sets of at least 12 repetitions. If you are at the intermediate or advanced level, you can do 2 to 3 sets of 8 to 12 reps with a rest between sets.

Biceps Curls. The bicep curl is the most basic but is the best bicep exercise that you can do. To do a curl, hold a dumbbell in such a way that your palms are facing you. Your elbows should remain still while you do the curl. The elbows should remain unmoved while you make pulling movements. Go back to the original position and then repeat the process to complete a set.

Another type of bicep curl is the barbell curl. This is an improvement from the dumbbells because with a barbell, the weight is a lot heavier and you work both your arms at the same time.

Concentration Curls. Another bicep curl exercise that takes concentration to a specific bicep muscle so that you really get the blood pumping to the bicep muscle and make it bigger.

Hammer Curls. This is almost similar to the bicep curl. Every time you curl your arms, your palms are facing each other and not facing outwards. Just a slight change in the palms’ direction makes this particular regimen more intense and powerful. You can complement the hammer curls with your bicep curls and concentration curls to achieve optimum result.
